last weekend
feels so far away
helping a company
move between buildings
my job was to ensure
packets flowed appropriately
now that it’s all over
life drifts back to normal
i’m not just coming home
and hitting the mattress
so i could be up in time to continue
the next day
and i’m not sure
if it’s good to say
that i enjoyed the experience
of throwing everything to one side
